About Me
On the piano faculty at Xavier University since 1993, I also teach privately in Dayton. I received my Master and Bachelor degrees in piano from the University of Michigan School of Music, where I studied with Louis Nagel. Additional study took place at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. I perform frequently throughout the region, presenting recitals at Xavier University, the Dayton Art Institute's Afternoon Musicale Series, the Midday Music Series in Oxford, the Second Sunday Concert Series at Premier Pianos in Cincinnati, and the Noonday Concert Series at Westminster Presbyterian in Dayton. In addition to teaching and performing, I edited the first English language translation of Bohumil Fidler's My Life and Memories, published by the Dvorak Society for Czech and Slovak Music in London. (Fidler was my great grandfather, a friend of Antonin Dvorak.
