Seriously, I love teaching all ages. I've taught children for many years, but I've just discovered how exciting it is to teach adults who had thought it was too late to learn to play.

My Musical Influences
I was quite fortunate to have had a most inspiring, adept, and knowledgeable piano teacher, Celeste Robbins, from the time I was eight years old through high school. In college, I had two huge influences. Dr. Billy Trotter was my professor of Organ Performance, and Dt. James Sclater was my Music Composition and Theory teacher. He is a gifted composer, and he's a good friend now.

I am an adult student of Mrs. Lofton's for almost two years now. I was 64 years old when I started taking lessons with her. She is the best and most patient teacher you could ever ask for. I thought I would never be able to fulfill this life-long dream and desire to play piano but she is very encouraging and patient, and is able to see your potential and bring it out. I enjoy my time with her and wouldn't trade it for anything.
