About Me
My piano studies began at age 5 when I started taking lessons from a wonderful teacher. She provided me with a solid musical foundation and introduced me to classical music early on. In addition, I was allowed to play popular music and other styles of music for fun, giving me well-rounded exposure to music. I continued with other teachers, pursuing additional classical training. I studied privately for two years with Fern Nolte Davidson at the College of Western Idaho. Later on, I studied with Dr. Paul Polvei, and minored in music at Brigham Young University.
My Musical Education Background
I have over 30 years experience in teaching both private and group lessons. I like to give a well rounded education from Bach to Rock as well as music history and theory.
