Kathy is an amazing teacher. She is competent in all aspects of music including composition, music theory, and especially teaching. She is able to teach all age levels and abilities but I would especially recommend her for serious students who want to achieve beyond the rudimentary basics of piano. She is good at pushing you to your best and she demands your best. However, you get your best from having her as a teacher. I have since gone on to get a piano performance major in college and I found her to be more competent then most my teachers there. I am grateful for her teach me the correct technique that allowed me to excel to where I am today.
