Genres and Subjects Taught

For over 30 years, Libba Anderson Piano Studio in Columbia, SC has been a musical oasis where piano dreams have become realities for children and adults.

My objective is to encourage each student to reach his potential by instruction that presents balanced repertoire, progressive technique, keyboard and virtuosity skills. I like the challenge of finding and assigning appropriate material that matches the student's interest. I feel that this is the key to the success of playing the piano and enjoying it for a lifetime.

As a dedicated and passionate educator, performer and church musician, I can provide you (children and adults) a safe, fun, nurturing and educational environment to learn the art of playing the piano.
