About Me
With over 30 years experience as a flute instructor and a proven record of successful students in all walks of life including professional flutists and band directors, I can help you prepared to be a top flutist in your school and beyond. There are many extracurricular activities I encourage my students to pursue including area youth orchestras, ILMEA District and State festival, flute competitions, summer music and flute camps, flute field trips and more.
Currently lessons are only online via Zoom or other online meeting platforms. Lessons are either at my home studio in Naperville or in the Oswego Schools or Plainfield Schools during band, lunch, study hall periods or after school. I'm on the official teacher list for the following districts - Oswego 308, Plainfield 202, Naperville 203, Naperville IPSD 204 and Joliet 86. I'm also adjust professor of flute at the University of St. Francis.

Flute, the whole flute and nothing but the flute - seriously though, anything that has to do with the flute including piccolo, big flutes, music theory and history as needed, audition preparation, building solid playing skills for all levels, developing a beautiful tone and solid technique, musicianship and expression......
Lesson Rates
Half hour - $35
45 minutes - $52.50
1 hour - $70
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
All levels, from absolute beginner to advanced professional audition preparation. What matters most to me is your level of interest and committment to learning to be the best flute player you can be. We will go from where you are now to as far as you would like to go. Support and enrichment for whatever music you are playing in your school band program is always included.
