About Me

Hello, I am an advanced NATS vocal teacher and MTNA Piano Teacher with more than 30 years experience combined in public school and private teaching of voice and piano. I use various methods and materials to customize a student centered instruction plan to help you reach your goals and have a positive and enjoyable experience in your journey in making music. An expert in piano and vocal pedagogy with experience in church, community, and school music as singer, pianist, accompanist, choral conductor, musical theatre coach, dance teacher, and church musician, I can offer you the best in whatever path you choose. I teach in my home studio in Hardin Valley area of Knoxville, TN and virtually for students anywhere.  Music brings us together, no matter what your background, culture, or experience and can bring ultimate pleasure and enjoyment for years to come. My Musical Education Background

I have a Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Music Education, Vocal and Piano Performance and Pedagogy.  Also an Advanced Teaching Certificate in multiple states. With more than 30  yeas experience in performing and teaching in public school, privately, in church, and community, I have the versatility to offer you many services from piano and voice lessons, choral conducting, musical theatre coach, accompanying, church musician, and music director for shows and events. I am classically trained with experience in jazz, show music, sacred music, worship music, dance, and pop. I am past conductor of Golden Heart Chorale and Class Act Vocal Jazz Band and am a professional member of: NATS, MTNA, KMTA, IAKT, and NEA.

Lesson Rates

30 minute lessons- $125 month flat rate, 60 min lessons- $250/month flat rate: semester based students
30 min per lesson- $35, 60 min per lesson- $65  for single lessons or less than 10 lesson package

$65 per hour for church accompanying or choral directing, or worship team leading, or workshops

Lessons in my studio or online via FaceTime or Skype
