About Me
At the Do-Re-Mi School of Music and the Arts in Livingston, young children, school age children, teens and adults receive a high quality instruction in piano (both traditional and Simply Music tracks), guitar, violin, clarinet, saxophone, singing, as well as dance, art, math and Russian. We serve Livingston and surrounding areas: Short Hills, Millburn and Springfield; Roseland and Caldwells; East Hanover, Whippany, Parsippany and Montville. People come to us from far-away towns as well, such as Boonton and Randolph, Chatham and Basking Ridge.
We have an exceptionally high retention rate, 8-9 times higher than average in the USA. We offer various tracks for young and old, for "serious" students and hobbyists (and we take hobbyists education seriously!) Our unique age-appropriate introductory piano program for young beginners, SPIRAL, is highly effective, professional and fun at the same time.

Genia Robinor Piano Pedagogy Award. Our Simply Music teacher is certified through Simply Music. Various awards that our teachers received for their own performing achievements are too numerous to list!
My Musical Influences
For our piano instructors, their major musical influence is Romantic piano tradition, especially Russian Romantic Piano tradition. Violin instruction is influenced by Russian tradition in a big way, as well. Guitar and Woodwind instructors, who received their professional education in the USA, are influenced by jazz styles that might be different for each individual teacher. Please call us to discuss your needs and musical interests.

Parsippany, NJ
Mrs. Goldin is a wonderful teacher and a talented entrepreneur. Do-Re-Mi school is well known in the area beyond Russian speaking community not only for its Piano and Russian Language classes, but also for music, art and math programs. The Director's ability to connect with each student and parent, addressing each student’s unique talents and specific needs, is absolutely incredible. She is 100% reliable, patient and accommodating. The teachers that she hand-picked are the reflection of her personal and professional expertise. Every one of her students and parents have nothing but great things to say about Marina and Do-Re-Mi school. October 25, 2010
