About Me
Whenever I introduce myself as piano teacher, my first comment often is:"I used to play piano when I was a kid. I wish I didn't quit then." Getting back to piano lessons later as an adult was a risky but rewarding decision for me. If you are hesitating whether you should start or restart any music lesson, please don't let the past experience stop you. Everyone is talented as talent comes in many areas. It's after the second learning, I realized my talent and passion.
If you are struggling with challenges, remember that the solution is usually simple. It just takes an experienced teacher to point out the way. Many times it's often one or two sentences. If you have performance anxiety and don't know what to do when you perform, you are not alone. Give me a call if want to hear something else more than: "It got better when you have more experience." I wish to share my 20 years of findings with you as you visit my profile and website.
My trio, Hillsboro Trio performs regularly in southern California. I also frequent appear in Richard Nixon Library Sunday concert series. Performance and teaching are important for me to understand my students' frustrations and finding the solutions.
Enjoy music and love passionately.
