About Me
Eugene Garner is a woodwind artist and educator. He received his Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education with concentration in Saxophone from the University of Delaware in 2015. He immediately took a position as Instrumental Music Director at Hampstead Hill Academy in Baltimore City which he held for five years prior to moving to Orlando. He has also taught privately to students of all ages since 2012. Eugene has performed in many ensembles including University of Delaware’s Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz I, Jazz II, University of Maryland Jazz Ensemble, various jazz combos, pit orchestras, as well as many local bands in the Delaware area. Eugene’s past mentors include Todd Groves, Chris Vadala, Christopher Nichols and Mike Cemprola. Eugene’s teaching style is goal oriented with a focus on excellent fundamentals. He can teach any style, and prioritizes great sound, rhythm and technical mastery of the instrument.

Lesson Rates
1 hour lessons are $60 for in person plus a distance fee if traveling to the student.
1 hour via Zoom is $55.
