About Me
Are you looking for a piano teacher that is positive, kind and passionate about teaching music?
The Piano Studio of Emily Kline offers affordable piano, voice and guitar lessons with a well-rounded and fun curriculum. We strive to help each student develop their own love for music using a kind and patient approach.
My Musical Education Background
Emily Kline has been playing the piano since the age of five during which she took lessons from two local Minnesota teachers. In 1986, Emily had the opportunity to study classical piano at the Wausau Conservatory of music with Dr. Thomas Pearsall. During this time she served as her congregation's organist and choir pianist.
Emily started her studio in 2002 and has been teaching ever since. From 2003-2005 Emily served as the North Branch Area Piano Teacher's Association president. In addition, she served on the board of APPI (Association of Professional Piano Instructors) and is currently a member. Furthermore, Emily teaches parent/child music classes for Plymouth, Maple Grove, Brooklyn Park, and Golden Valley Park and Recreation Departments. Emily has accompanied local school choirs, most recently, her daughter's 7th grade choir and college level performers. She lives in Maple Grove with her husband and two daughters.
