Lessons should be fun! I have been playing the piano all my life
and I share my love of music with my students and tailor each
lesson to their specific needs. I also teach music composition! If
you ever had that idea for a song, I'll teach you how to develop
it.
I love getting students making music as soon as possible! My music
therapy background gives me a unique approach to cultivating a
long-term desire for musical growth. I include ear training and
theory for a well rounded lesson....
I received by Bachelors in Music Education in 1978 from the
University of Kansas. Since that time I have been teaching music
both privately and in school settings in the states of Kansas,
Oklahoma, Delaware and Pennsylvania. My first and foremost goal is
to instill a love of music in my students....
I have been involved in music since I was 7 years old, and I
have thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of learning to share my
passon for music with others through teaching, and look forward to
doing it for years to come!...
