About Me
My name is Deborah (Debbie) Venezia & I started playing flute in the 4th grade and have been playing ever since. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a Master's Degree in Flute Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts. I have been teaching for many years. I have studied with Paige Brook, James Scott, Michael Parloff, MaryAnn Archer and performed in masterclasses with Robert Willhoughby & Bernard Goldberg.
I have performed with symphony orchestras, concert bands and chamber groups. I currently perform with Éclectique and Éclectique Productions. I play flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flutes.
We all learn differently and I always keep that in mind when teaching. I am patient yet demanding especially with technique.
I love playing and teaching others, sharing my love of music and the flute.
