About Me
Mrs. Harkey is not currently accepting new students for the 2018-2019 school year.
There may be possible openings in October 2019. During her undergraduate studies, Joyce continued the study of the German language began during high school. She was presented with the opportunity to study at the Phillips-Universitat in Marburg. After her returning to the United States, Joyce graduated with a BA in German/ Minor in Music and shortly thereafter married her husband, Steve, who was in the beginning stages of a new start-up business: Accent Music.

I'm an adult student (27) who has been taking piano lessons with Joyce for about 2 years now, and plan on continuing them for several more! Accent Music is definitely a great place, with great people, and Joyce is one of them. She is very kind, knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and I enjoy every second of my lesson spent. I admire her talent, and am very thankful to have a piano teacher that is willing to work with me, challenge me, and most importantly inspire me to keep putting forth the effort! She's great!

Joyce is wonderful! I began taking lessons with her just a few months ago and I'm in my late 40s. She has been incredibly patient with me and she is thoroughly knowledgeable. I am so glad to be Joyce's student!
