About Me
Howdy! My Name is Ian Posh. I am an LV native and have been learning music for about 15 years now. I have seen people start lessons in music and call it quits because it seemed like so much homework and drills and scales and they couldn't see when the fun would start. I think this is a real shame, and believe that getting in touch with the enjoyment should be a priority, and the enjoyment will drive the learning. Furthermore, I believe in building skills that encourage students to consider themselves musicians, not just guitar or bass players.
I have experience in performance (both solo and with groups), songwriting, collaboration, accompaniment, recording, and communication associated with all of the above.
I am looking to take on students of all ages who are just getting into music and want a teacher who is down-to-earth, supportive, and passionate about music and helping bring others into the real enjoyment of this art. Looking forward to meeting you!
