About Me
Good Day! My name is Jeremy Butz, and I've love everything about the Piano! I began teaching 5 years ago, and have dedicated my time to becoming the best teacher I can be. My goal is to develop your performance and technique with the piano, in a relaxed, and fun environment. I enjoying playing and teaching all types of music and always strive to provide you with the skills, and encouragement to play any piece of music. It's never too late to start learning to play the piano, so if you're between the ages of 5 and 95, let's get started!
My Musical Education Background
I have been playing the piano for 20 years. That includes 10 years of lessons in which I performed in recitals and competitions where I received top grades. I've dedicated the last 5 years of my time to honing my teaching skills, and working with students of all ages.
Genres and Subjects Taught
My lessons focus on perfecting ones technique and performance. While my lessons are weighted in the classical genre i.e. Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Hanon, Liszt, Mozart, Rachmaninoff and etc., I also enjoy teaching contemporary music like One Republic, Rihanna, Coldplay, Journey, Green Day, Train and much more.
Perhaps the most important thing when it comes to playing the piano is to find and play music you love. We all have our favorite songs, and it's my job to provide you with the skills necessary to play and perfect any piece.
