About Me
I am interested in helping students who want to learn jazz and/or pop keyboard styles, composition and arranging, or who would like to learn the skills needed to work in a recording studio. I help students gain necessary skills while working on the music that they like. I try very hard to make sure you reach your goals while enjoying the process.
My Musical Education Background
I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies (Piano) from the University of Southern Mississippi, one of the leading music schools in the Southeast.
I also did a year of graduate studies in Composition with composer Luigi Zaninelli at the same school.
I have studied orchestration with Scott Smalley, orchestrator for Danny Elfman and numerous other Hollywood film composers.

Jazz and Pop Piano/Keyboard, Composition, Arranging; Digital Performer and Sibelius Software Training, Digital Audio Workstation/MIDI Training, and Studio Design Consultation.
Lesson Rates
$65 per hour
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
Students should be 12 or above and interested in playing pop or jazz.

Eight Emmy Awards for music composition.
One Silver Muse Award from the PROMAX organization (Television Promotion Professionals)
Many other regional and local awards for music written for the broadcasters and advertisers.
