About Me

I teach students of all ages and levels, and have over 20 years experience.  I have also served as a  Church Worship Leader, and have taught Music Appreciation, Music History and Vocal Music at two Christian Schools.

My Musical Education Background

I received a Bachelors Degree in Church Music/Piano Performance from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Also I have a Masters in Piano Performance and Literature from The Ohio State University.

Genres and Subjects Taught

I teach any who are  willing to learn. I specialize in classical music, improvization, church music, jazz and can even help you learn your favorite song.

Lesson Rates

Lesson rate is 22.00 per lesson, payable  for the month in advance

My Certifications and Awards

Awarded 2 Music Activity Scholarships as Undergraduate, Lifetime Member of Ohio State University Alumni Association

I have coached/taught a piano student who received a  Superior rating 4 consecutive years in High School music competitions.

My Musical Influences

Most of my musical influences are classical in definition, such as Liszt and Bach. I have also been inspired by Christian artists such as Dino and I enjoy making arrangements of old hymns as well as writing my own songs.
