About Me

Laurice Lanier, originally from Jackson, TN, is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music in NYC. Ms. Lanier is the founder and head music and performing arts instructor at Lanier Studios LLC. Lanier's strong vocal training comes from the incomparable, Edith Bers. Laurice has been named by Maryland Public Television as "One of the Most Versatile Voices in the Planet". She has performed various roles in opera houses, Broadway (NYC), theatres, concerts and performance halls throughout the United States and abroad. Ms. Lanier teaches all genres and styles of music in the areas of voice and piano. 

My Musical Education Background

Ms. Lanier is a graduate of The Juilliard School of Music in NYC where she majored in vocal performance, piano and foreign language. Ms. Lanier has studied piano since the age of 6. She has also performed in theatres, concerts halls, private functions, and churches throughout the United States and abroad. Ms. Lanier is not only a phenomenal performer, but has been teaching for many years and is an outstanding pedagogy scholar. Group Classes and Lectures
Outside of private lessons, Laurice teaches group classes, master classes, and seminars. Please inquire for audition, group classes, master classes, and seminar rates.

Private Vocal and Piano Lessons
Lanier Studios offers private lessons for beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano and voice students starting at age 4 - 99+.  Ms. Lanier encourages all ages to apply.

Coaching  and Vocal Lessons for Voice Students and Professional Singers
Ms. Lanier offers coachings and to assist students in preparing them for their classes, performances, auditions, and studio sessions. Coachings are great for those who need a little help catching up and great for those who want to be one step ahead of the game. Ms. Lanier coaches all repertoire styles from Classical, Jazz, Broadway, Pop, Country, Soul and more. 

Choral, Band, and Orchestral Conducting
Ms. Lanier encourages High School and College students to take private conducting lessons with her. She will prepare you for your audition and performance.
