What you should expect from me:
I work with students in all areas/styles of music. However, I always begin work with fundamental technique with the goal of producing healthy, efficient singing. Fundamentals include: correct posture, breathing, resonance, placement and diction. Beginning students will be asked to sing more classical repertoire in order to better develop a technically solid vocal instrument. Emphasis is also placed on performance and stage craft skills, and students are strongly encouraged to seek live performance opportunities. I welcome regular and open communication with students and parents via email, phone, or in person.
