About Me

Hey everyone out there! My name is Maria and music is my passion! I am thrilled to say that I have been teaching piano (and math) for a long, long time. And the beauty of teaching music...it NEVER gets old! When working with students, every day is a new adventure.

My goal with every student is to make them LOVE piano and LOVE music. I push students to do there best, while allowing them to have fun. Classics are great, but sometimes being able to play "something I heard on the radio the other day" is just as meaningful.

I hope for every student, that music becomes a life-long love and a life-long adventure!

My Musical Education Background

I have a bachelors degree. 

Genres and Subjects Taught

Piano, Voice, Clarinet (and by the way, I tutor math as well...just in case you might need that!)

Lesson Rates

$30/half hour

I teach 3 lessons per month, allowing both student and teacher a break!

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

I teach ages 5 and up. My biggest demographic is elementary and middle school students, but "littes" and "olders" are most definitely welcome!

My Certifications and Awards

I am a certified teacher. I am a member of the piano guild.

My Musical Influences

My mother, most definitely. I also am thrilled to be a church musician and pray through my music.
