About Me
I started teaching my first official student nearly seven years ago, already having some experience under my belt from teaching my younger siblings off and on. Over the years, I have built up my piano studio to over 20 students and have entered them in several festivals and competitions, where they received superior ratings, honorable mentions, and even awards. I hold annual recitals, and enjoy letting my students celebrate with others the pieces they have worked so hard on. I teach all ages, from beginning to early advanced levels. I am also a member of Music Teachers National Association, Georgia Music Teachers Association, National Federation of Music Clubs, and Georgia Federation of Music Clubs. My membership provides me with countless learning and performing opportunities for my students and allows me to regularly connect with other music teachers.

My Musical Education Background
I have been playing piano for almost 20 years, and earned a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Thomas Edison State University in 2020. During high school and college, I studied with Ken Newton (MM Juilliard) and after college I studied with Grace Meng Tian (DMA UGA). Throughout my music education, I participated in several music camps at different colleges, performed regularly in the Georgia Musicale Group, and competed in various piano competitions. Additionally, I helped plan and perform in some of my own recitals, including a duet recital, a solo recital, and a piano trio recital. I also have extensive experience accompanying vocalists and instrumentalists. I have accompanied for numerous choirs and ensembles, including the Gwinnett Young Singers Chamber Choir. I was also one of the main church pianists at Redeemer OPC in Tucker for several years. Collaborative piano is one of my favorite forms of performance, and I look forward to more opportunities to make music with other musicians
