About Me
I have been teaching piano, voice, violin, and music theory to children and adults of all ages for many years and I like all types of music! I have been playing piano all my life and am so happy to meet you and help you meet your music goals. I play all styles pop, classical, jazz, and musical theater. I will tailor your music learning experience to your needs and I offer a no stress, fun approach to music study. If you like singing, Musical Theater vocal is my specialty and I can help you belt your way to Broadway! I have experience with young children and I teach using a multi-sensory approach to learning. I teach Suzuki Violin, My First Piano Adventures and Music for Little Mozarts Piano program for young children. I teach all ages and I work with older children, teens, and adults as well. Piano Lessons Music for Little Mozarts Piano and My First Piano Adventures program for preschoolers, Piano Adventures program for Elementary and Older Beginners, and Beginning Adults, Classical Instruction for intermediate and advanced players, Chord approach for recreational players and vocalists who want to learn to accompany themselves.
Voice Lessons Music Theater Vocal training, audition prep, acting in song, monologue coaching, preparation for high school and college auditions, contemporary and pop singing styles.
Violin Lessons Suzuki Violin program for students of all ages, ABRSM program, experienced teaching violin to young children, opportunities for duet work for older students, piano accompaniment during lessons.
Music Theory Lessons Beginners through AP Music Theory class level, keyboard skills are also taught in conjunction with music theory instruction.
Lesson Rates
$40 per 30 minute lesson online via webcam
$40 per 30 minute lesson in student home (local neighborhood discount, 5 miles or less from my location)
$45 per 30 minute lesson in student home (more than 5 miles from my home)
Musical Theater Audition prep special (1st time students)- $50 for 1 hour lesson
