About Me
I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in Sacred Music, and I am currently accepting piano and voice students. I teach from a studio in Germantown (Wisconsin Academy of Music). I also maintain a position as Music Director for Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa (contact me). My duties there include playing a 29-rank Martin Ott tracker (pipe) organ for worship services, directing the Senior Choir and preparing special music in all venues. I am also available for accompaniment opportunities, as well as performing (vocally and at the keyboard) for special occasions.
My Musical Education Background
I attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina, obtaining both bachelor's and master's degrees in Sacred Music with emphasis on piano. I completed an internship at Morningside Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, under the direction of Larry Carrier. I also spent several years concurrently studying violin and voice, and started organ lessons in college. Not until I graduated and became Music Director at Pilgrim Lutheran in Wauwatosa, WI did I pursue organ studies seriously, studying under Sr. Mary Jane Wagner, SSSF.

Favorite composers: J. S. Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Max Bruch, Dvorak, G. F. Handel, Vivaldi, George Butterworth, John Field, Chopin, Paul Manz, Debussy, and Craig Courtney.
