About Me
My name is Cody Foster. I have a Bachelor's of Music in Instrumental Music Education from Carson-Newman University. I currently teach beginning (5th-8th) brass lessons and advanced (9th-12th) low brass lessons.
My Musical Education Background
I graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Music Education Degree. I have been teaching private lessons since 2012. I also teach band camps and sectionals throughout the year.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I teach brass lessons during school. I am also available for conducting (drum major) and music theory lessons.
Lesson Rates
5th Grade - $12 for 30-minute lessons 6th-8th Grade - $15 for 30-minute lessons 9th-12th Grade - $20 for 30-minutes lessons
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I teach from grades 5 through 12.
My Certifications and Awards
I received the John Philip Sousa award during high school. I have a Tennessee Teaching Certificate.
My Musical Influences
My musical influences was my former band directors and teachers, Rhett Butler, Pat Bivens, and Sean Greene. They taught me everything I know and help me find my own love towards music and music education.
