About Me
I have just begin my music education career and am eager to keep going! I love music and want to share my passion of music with others, especially by teaching! I like to use a variety of resources when teaching.
My Musical Education Background
I graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a Bachelor of Music and education endorsements. I am certified to teach any K-12 music (Instrumental, choral, general). My main instruments are clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, and baritone saxophone. I am currently teaching 6th grade general music, 6th grade chorus, and an adaptive special education music class!
Music has been a large part of my life since I was 7 years old which is when I joined church choir. I have been very involved with both instrumental music and choral music. I believe music is a part of being human!
I use a variety of resources including lesson books and solo works...jazz included if desired!
