Retired high school band director from New York. Taught music theory, classical music history, commercial (Pop/Rock/Jazz) music history, conducting, jazz improvisation for 40 years. Teaching privately for over 15 years.

Lesson Rates
Sliding scale...depends on student's ability to pay. As low as $10 per half-hour lesson up to $50 maximum per lesson.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
Piano/Keyboards - beginners age 5 and up; intermediate and advanced lessons offered.
Band/Orchestral Instruments - beginners age 10 and up; intermediate on all band instruments; advanced on all brass instruments.

My Musical Influences
Studied trombone with Michael Powell, Professor of Music at the Julliard School. Studied euphonium with Barry Kilpatrick and Dr. Mary Ann Craig. Studied piano with Dr. Linda Phillips and Mario Falcao. Studied advanced conducting with Dr. Harry John Brown, conductor emeritus of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
