About Me

A musician from the age of 9, Pianist/Composer/Educator Sam Pasco received his degree in performance from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Since graduating, he has worked as a staff writer with Otis Blackwell ("Don't Be Cruel," All Shook Up") in Nashville, and performed as a session musician, playing with some of the Music City's finest artists.

As a private teacher with over fifteen years experience, Sam incorporates his original "Your Voice"™ method along with the exclusive Berklee approach to his teaching. His students have gone on to attend such prominent schools as Berklee College of Music , Eastman School of Music and Duquesne University to name a few.

In addition to composing and teaching, he is also an active member of the MTNA, GMA, SGA and BMI as well as maintaining his own professional recording facility.

My Musical Education Background

Sam received his B.M. degree in Performance from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has performed as a session musician and as a professional songwriter in Nashville Tn. He has also performed in some of the finest venues in the states and abroad.

Genres and Subjects Taught

Sam teaches all levels of students from beginner to advanced in various styles. His primary genres are jazz, contemporary, pop, gospel and new age, as well as focusing on improvisation, reharmonization, soloing and arranging for solo piano.

Lesson Rates

Lessons are taught weekly with rates as follows:

30 Minute Lesson $95 per month (4 or 5 lessons)

45 Minute Lesson $125 per month (4 or 5 lessons)

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

We welcome students from 7 to 70, as long as you have the desire we can assist you in playing the music you've always imagined.

My Musical Influences

I have been influenced by so very many pianists and composers over the years, some of my favorites are: Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Liz Story, Michael Jones and Billy Joel to name a few.
