About Me
I've taught piano for 40 years, performed in concerts, and recorded cds of my piano performances.
My Musical Education Background
I studied piano performance with concert pianists, Ozan Marsh and Patricia Benkman, in Chautaugua, New York and in San Francisco, California.
I graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Music.
I studied piano pedagogy with Katinka Daniel.
Genres and Subjects Taught
Students are taught to read music, create their own music, and perform if they wish.
They are taught music theory (all scales, chords, cadences, and arpeggios) and how to improvise by using these scales and chords.
They are given opportunities to perform in two recitals each year and in competitions and Guild Auditions if they wish.
Lesson Rates
$65.00 a month for a half hour lesson each week
$97.50 a month for a 45 minute lesson each week
$130.00 a month for an hour lesson each week

My Musical Influences
I love all kinds of music, but my favorite is classical music. I love Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Grieg,Schubert, Mozart, Clementi and many others.
I also like Scott Joplin and Ravi Shankar.
