About Me
Teaching Methods
My goal is to instill a love for music in my students and inspire each student to understand and appreciate various music styles and eras. I continually stress the importance of musical expression in combination with technical mastery. I use an individual approach when selecting repertoire for my students, in order to focus on their personal interests, aspirations, and abilities.
Unique Skills
My extensive knowledge as a musicologist benefits my students as I engage them in understanding the pieces that they play as well as the composers' styles. I enjoy playing in public, composing music in my spare time, as well as improvising anything I hear with my perfect pitch ability. I also strive to teach my students the importance of hard work. I strongly encourage them to participate in public performances, especially recitals, festivals, and competitions.
Philosophy
As one prominent Russian teacher, Anna Artobolevskaya, wrote, 'Impassioning and infecting a child with the longing to learn the language of music is the most important task of the pedagogue.'
I would like to see music being a part of each student's life, from entertaining themselves and others to pursuing a future musical career.

My Musical Influences
In Russia, the endeavor to pursue a career in music is a long, laborious commitment. It requires passion, skill, and a love for art. Throughout my journey through musical college, Conservatory, and my teaching career, I had the great fortune to meet several inspirational pianists and educators. Among them are L.E. Terlikova, N.F.Tiftikidi, G.R.Taraeva, A.M. Tzuker, G.D. Demina, who have all inspired my love for music and passion to teach. I am grateful to them for instilling their knowledge and wisdom in me.
