About Me
Rima Bushkin has been performing and teaching piano in the great Hartford area for the last 30 years. She was formally trained in the Riga Music Conservatory in Riga Latvia before immigrating to the United States. She has performed with the Hartford Ballet, the Jewish Community Center, numerous choirs, and at many assisted living facilities on a regular basis. She has written original music scores for several musical endeavors. Her approach towards teaching has been highly praised. She has a fun and friendly approach towards education; nurturing each student's individual strengths, while challenging them to excel. Rima is widely versed in technique and can teach any style of playing, while focusing on traditional classical as her forte. She has taught young children from age 3 to seasoned pianists looking to improve upon their skill.
