About Me

A pianist and piano instructor for over 20 years, Mrs. Brock is a music lover from many perspectives! She enjoys teaching piano and keyboard skills to beginners and intermediate students of all ages. A school teacher as well, Mrs. Brock has taught General Music Grades K-12, High School Music Theory and Chorale, as well as produced and directed over 50 musical and dramatic productions, private music ensembles, as well as drama companies associated with churches and local schools. Her diversity provides a varied sense of appreciation for many genres of the music world, including gospel and contemporary as well as classic church music. Her joy in teaching piano students is seeing even her youngest students grow to love playing the piano and eventually even perform in seasonal recitals. As her students gain confidence, and as their pianistic skills are perfected, it is her goal to see music be thoroughly enjoyed!

Previously a teacher with the Steinway Piano Galleries of Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Brock has been associated with the Jacksonville Federation as well as private school music teachers fellowship of the Northeast Florida. Mrs. Brock relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona in the Fall of 2008 and is currently open to taking on new students.
