About Me
Piano teaching has been my passion for more than 20 years. I've been teaching students of various levels and ages using a specific method of combining russian piano school elements and american piano pedagogical methods. I adapt my teaching method to each student depending on his/her level and skills. Each student usually receives one lesson per week -either 30, 45 or 60 min. Also, two lessons per week could be arranged upon request with a discount for the second lesson. After moving from Russia to USA I continued my professional development, graduating from the Manhattan school of Music (MM, 2001 and Professional Studies Diploma, 2002) and from Northwestern university Bienen School of Music (Doctor of Music in Piano Performance 2012). Currently, I am on the faculty at the Merit School of Music in Chicago and hold position of the Piano Department Chair.
