Joan Gerzon was my first and only teacher. I studied with her breifly in the early 80's, and because of my moms finances, couldnt really continue. She was A Phenomenal teacher, and showed great care for my aspirations, and inspired me to improve. I still know the pieces i learned with her by heart. I have since earned 2 platinum albums, and have been in the music business for the last 20 years. Kenneth burgeomaster, another of her students, and a frien of mine, does the music for the myley cirus show.
