Paula is an excellent teacher. She motivates students to learn by allowing them to learn to play music and interests them, not just music she believes they ought to play. She also stresses theory work...it is included at every lesson with levels the student must reach. She also encourages the musician who enjoys composing and playing by ear as well. Paula also makes things fun by having opportunities to play in public besides just the annual recital, group lessons, and a Christmas party and other possible outings.
