About Me
Dan Mattix of the Mattix Music Studio is a piano, voice and conducting teacher in the DeKalb/Sycamore, IL area. He teaches students of any age or level out of his home. Students have the opportunity to play on the studio's Steinway grand piano. Dan's wife Katie teaches violin, viola and piano as well.

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts in piano performance from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Arts in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Iowa. He has also had extensive vocal & conducting experience and has taught in the public schools at
