About Me
Alison started her music education in elementary school with the recorder, saxophone and chorus classes. She then moved onto private vocal and piano lessons, violin, and so forth. A current A.A. Music student at CCM, Alison already holds a certificate in Music Theory from Berklee College of Music Online, a certificate in Social Media Marketing from Centenary University, and a certificate in Theatre & Performing Arts from Warren County Technical School. She is proud to be on the Dean's List. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Alison is a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda honor society. In addition, she is a NJ State Certified Substitute Teacher.
She is a graduate of Warren County Technical High School. While there, she earned a place in the National Technical Honor Society, membership in The National Society of High School Scholars, the PTA Citizenship Award, and the John B. Laporta Scholarship. She took part in the schools a Capella club, bowling club, SGA, peer2peer mentoring, and Key Club.
Since 2011, she has been in over a dozen theatrical productions. Some favorite roles of hers include Margot in "The Diary of Anne Frank," Belise in "The Learned Ladies," Helen in "Carrie: The Musical," and the Angel in "The Journey." She has been involved in numerous recitals/concerts/showcases, co-hosted Knightline News for her high school, modeled for Paladin Knight Entertainment, LLC and is on staff for an upcoming Paladin Knight Pictures independent film production. She has sung in the St. Marks Invitational Christmas Concert in Long Valley and has also sung with the Church of the Messiah in Chester. At St. Theodore's in Port Murray, she is a cantor and substitute music director. In 2015 and 2016, she placed second runner-up in the Warren County Farmers Fair Talent Show. Alison has performed the National Anthem at various Morris County USBC bowling tournaments. Her favorite musical accomplishment is singing with one of her musical theatre idols, Idina Menzel during her world tour in Bethlehem, PA in 2015.
In her free time, Alison also enjoys volunteering, bowling, photography, amateur radio, traveling, and modeling. Additionally, Alison holds a seasonal job as an actor at Schaefer Farms Frightfest in Flemington, NJ and works with the Boy Scouts of America during the summer.

Lesson Rates
At the studio: $20 / half and hour paid monthly or $25 paid weekly
At your home: Above rate + travel (varies depending on location)
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I teach all ages and skill levels. Children can start the piano as early as 4, but it depends on their motor skills and behavior. Most other insturments can be started around the thrid grade, depending on the instrument size and their behavior. Each student is unique and different. Please call for more details.
