About Me
Teaching music is my passion! I love finding new ways to teach lessons to my students. One wall of my studio is painted with chalkboard paint so that I can use the entire wall to teach and review concepts! My students also get to put their name on the studio goal chart. When they reach the top they get to pick a prize from my grab bag.

My Musical Education Background
I graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Piano Pedagogy and in 2012 with a M.S. in Music Education-Piano from Pensacola Christian College. I have had lots of experience teaching starting with an internship at Pensacola Christian Academy. I then was given the opportunity to teach at the college for a year and a half. I have been teaching in the Alabama/Georgia area for a year and just recently opened my own studio.
Genres and Subjects Taught
Piano, Music Theory, Music History, and Conducting.
Lesson Rates
Half hour lessons are $20 per week/student.
Hour lessons are $35 per week/per student.
Hour and a half lessons are $55 per week/per student.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
Any age and level is welcome! I currently have students ranging from 5-65 starting from beginners to late intermediate! I look forward to getting some advanced students!

My Musical Influences
I love classical music and have played it as long as I can remember. I also enjoy sacred music and playing special music for my church. I tend to focus on classical music in lessons along with a normal lesson and theory book. However, my students and I also enjoy playing Disney and movie soundtrack music to keep things fun and interesting!

I've observed Rebekah as she teaches my 5-year old son. She is great with him. She makes it fun and interesting. I love that in addition to teaching the music itself, she also teaches about composers. My son loves writing on her "chalkboard wall" as she teaches him theory.
