About Me
I love teaching piano. I have been playing all of my life and I play everyday. I'm still fascinated by how everyone learns. I play for Churches, the VA, and weddings and funerals, open houses. You get the idea. Playing is fun and I want it to be fun for you. I do believe we all need to learn to read music well, whatever your skill level. If you can read, you can play anything.
My Musical Education Background
I went to The Universary of Maryland I have been teaching piano for over 40 years. I attend workshops and master classes to keep my teaching skills up to date.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I teach all styles. What do you want to learn to play? Let's do it.
Lesson Rates
My lesson rates are: $30.00 per 1/2 hour, once a week or $60.00 for one hour. I teach in my home.
If you want lessons in your home, I teach in the Bel Air area only. The day and times need to fit into my schedule.
I teach weekdays only with and evening hours also.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I teach students as early as 5 years old and my oldest student was 88 years old.
I teach all levels from beginners to advanced.
My Musical Influences
I teach what I love. If you are a beginner, we will start where you are. As students progress, I slant the curriculum towards your preferences. That can be Broadway, Country, Gospel,Christian, Blues, Jazz, Ragtimes etc.
