My Musical Education Background
Crystal D. Lile, owner of A Suite Sound Music Center, is a board-certified music therapist, a member of the American Music Therapy Association, and an alumni of the Music Therapy Program at Texas Woman’s University. She has worked with children and adolescents with various developmental and intellectual disabilities in the clinic, school and music band settings, adults in an inpatient psychiatric facility, and residents in memory care. She has interacted with children in additional settings, including her role as a private nanny. As a worship team member of Waxahachie Bible Church, Crystal sings, and plays piano and keyboard. Crystal studied piano for 17 years including 3 years at the collegiate level. While a music therapy intern, she designed and directed a Piano Festival with the primary focus on students enrolled in adapted piano lessons. She has been nominated to present her project’s findings at the Southwestern Region of the American Music Therapy Association 2020 Conference and at the Texas Music Teachers Association 2021 Convention.
In Crystal’s spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, and drinking coffee. Crystal believes in enhancing abilities and creating harmony through music. She is so excited to begin working with your family through her services provided at A Suite Sound!
