About Me
I studied piano performance at Univ. of Calif., Irvine, under tutelage of Nona Scolnik. I've been teaching for over 22 years and I truly enjoy a life of devotion to teaching the piano, especially to young pupils, fostering in them a love for music for life, and a strong sense of the discipline of learning. Along with maintaining a private studio, I have played piano, keyboard, and organ in numerous churches.
In summer of 2012 my family relocated to Camas, WA after spending 9 years in the Woodlands, TX, and I'm growing my piano studio in Camas. In the Woodlands, I maintained a very active private piano studio as a member of Houston Area Suzuki Piano Association (HASPA). My professional affiliations include Suzuki Association of America (SAA), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA), and Clark County Music Teachers Association (CCMTA).

Genres and Subjects Taught
All my students start learning piano with strong classical piano training, including sight-reading, ear training, technical exercises, repertoire interpretations, and sight-singing. I believe that having a strong foundation from the beginning is the key for maintaining the skills for life. My students have their weekly private lessons to focus on individual needs and weekly group classes to learn music in social, motivating, noncompetitive setting.
I not only teach classical piano performance, but also teach piano accompaniment & improvisation, chamber music coaching, music theory, and musicianship.

When I look for musical inspirations, I start listening to great pianists, such as Vladimir Horowitz, Arthur Rubinstein, Martha Argerich, Murray Perahia, Richard Goode, Vladimir Ashkanazy, Krystian Zimmerman, and Paul Badura-Skoda to name a few.
