About Me
Welcome to Mozart Music & More. As my business name suggests, I present more than classical music in my teaching. I like to incorporate all types of music. I took my training as a classical pianist, however, over the years I enjoyed playing a variety of music. My philosophy is to learn to play for enjoyment, and in time for others. I believe in moving at a student's pace. I am very open to allowing my students play songs they enjoy, not what I would always expect them to learn. I incorporate technique and theory into my teaching because I want my students to be pianists, not just piano players. I look forward to meeting you and teaching you how to enjoy the piano as much as I. Thank you for your interest in Mozart Music & More.
My Musical Education Background
I began my piano studies at the age of 7 and became an accompanist for choirs and small groups in church, high school, and college. I attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona where I accompanied individual soloists and the university chorale. I have been playing piano for over 50 years. I enjoy teaching on an individual basis as it affords the student the opportunity to move at his or her own pace. I also encourage each student in the type of music he or she would like to study. However, I do incorporate other forms of music, thus, introducing a wider range of musicality. Students range from beginners to advanced.

Linda is one of the best piano teachers I know. I took lessons with her from the age of 5 to about 12 years old and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. She really cares and demonstrates that this is her passion. She organizes piano recitals that really pushes you to give to your best performance. I will never forget Linda and how she sparked a love for piano in me and still remains to this day. Thank you Linda for everything :)
