I have been taking lessons from Anna Fisher for about a year now and have progressed faster than I ever thought possible. I'm an adult returning student and truly value her teaching style. She's patient and kind, and she can answer any question I come up with. Anna is very knowledgeable and offers her students a well-rounded musical experience. Not only does she help me with my piano playing, she also is training me in music theory. I look forward to my lessons every week and leave inspired and encouraged to keep practicing and learning. Anna is truly an artist, and I would highly recommend her to others.

“Our daughter's piano playing has improved tremendously in the past year. Ms. Anna has helped her grow musically and has introduced her to a diverse collection of music.”

“In her two years teaching my daughters beginning piano, Ms. Anna has been a sensitive, yet very disciplined, instructor. My daughter has made rapid progress in learning to play. Adding to a basic beginner curriculum, Ms. Anna has taken the time to help my daughter with her own “compositions” and allowed her to play jazz and classical melodies, experiences which have greatly contributed to my daughter's enthusiasm. Above all, Ms. Anna is a delightful role model for any young person aspiring to play. I also spent several months taking lessons from her and appreciated the many practice techniques and the musical history she shared with me as she got me playing again after a twenty year hiatus.”

"Ms. Anna is a gem, that rare teacher whose love of music naturally overflows into her teaching style. In the past three years, my daughter has grown from a beginner 6-year-old learning her do-re-mi's to a young musician, developing a proficiency with techniques alongside a deepening appreciation for music and its vast repertoire. Furthermore, thanks to Ms. Anna's example and encouragement, my daughter now understands that discipline and practice are necessary to grow. Ms. Anna has brought her this far with an infectious warmth, as both her love for music and children shine through with each lesson. Even more interesting, with some hesitation, I signed up my more rambunctious 6-year-old son this past year. A true testament to Ms. Anna's effective teaching style, my usually squirmy son not only pays attention in each lesson, but he looks forward to them with great enthusiasm! In just one semester, he has come a long way in learning to read music, and is beginning to appreciate playing the piano in his own right. For both of my kids to respond so effectively to Ms. Anna demonstrates that not only is she a gifted musician, but an incredible teacher. She has the insight to understand children's different personalities, and harnesses their strengths so that ultimately each child can thrive on the instrument - equipped with solid techniques but with the freedom to enjoy the art of music in their unique way."
