About Me
My name is Faith Van Ryckeghem. I am the youngest of six children and am working on getting my Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Piano Performance.
My Musical Education Background
I have taken lessons since The age of seven. I started at Shuff's music in Franklin and stayed there until I turned 15, when I started studying at the pre-college music program at Vanderbilt Universities Blair School of Music. I will be attending MTSU in the fall in pursuit of a degree in Piano Performance.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I teach mostly classical, but can teach other genres of that is what the student wants. I can teach how to read a basic chord chart and some basic improvisational skill and also some introduction to jazz structure. I also give basic music theory, and can teach advanced theory of the student wants to learn it.
Lesson Rates
I usually teach for $20-$25 dollars per one half hour lesson, depending on whether the student comes to me or I drive to them. I will stay later to make sure a student understands a concept before I leave.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I teach from age 5 to age 15.
