About Me

I teach piano,keyboard,guitar,ukulele,violin at Kings Music Studio. I teach ages 4-adult. I use curriculum to fit a student's learning style. I published Music Mania Games to reinforce concepts that are taught in music lessons.  I use music learning games and activities to teach: rhythm, notes, music patterns, and piano key location. My Musical Education Background

For over 20 years, have been teaching students of all ages at the Kings Music Studio of Omro, WI. I have a teaching degree in elementary education. I am also the musician on staff at 1st Presbyterian Church.  "Music Mania Games"  that I published is a set of 4 music learning games.  Level 1 and 2 begin by teaching a nonreader of music how to read notes. Levels 3 and 4 teach the relationship of the notes as to their staff placement and pitches.

Genres and Subjects Taught

I structure music lessons to meet the needs of the students. I emphasize rhythm with rhythm instruments. Chording is a skill that I teach to all piano/keyboard students. I also offer music writing.   I teach classical, pop, folk, as well as Christian music.

All lessons are taught at Kings Music Studio located at my home in Omro, WI.

Individual 30 min. - $26

Individual 40 min. - $34

Family 60 min. - $48

I instruct students ages: 5 - adult.

My Certifications and Awards

I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association of USA, MTNA.

I have a teaching degree and license.

My Musical Influences

I am a paid member of the music staff at 1st Presbyterian Church of Omro. I perform weekly for the members of 1st Presbyterian Church.
