About Me
I started playing the piano as a child. I studied at Boise State University for seven years and am degreed in both music theory and elementary education. I have been teaching for 15 years and been in this area for the last five years. I strive to make each lesson both fun and educational. I teach both private and group lessons. I love this area and plan to continue teaching here for ever. I am also actively involved with several school districts in the area. If you are interested in learning the piano (even if you think you can't or don't have the talent) you should give it a try. I look forward to hearing from you.

Genres and Subjects Taught
I teach private lessons for all ages and skill levels. I also teach group classes. My group classes repeat every six weeks and are designed to carry-over to the next class, or prepare the student to enter private lessons. I teach the skills necessary for long-term retention, but also am very good at adapting to the students interests, which is just as important.
Lesson Rates
private lesson rates are $100/mo. This includes one lesson a week. History and theory always included with each lesson.

I teach all ages starting with primer group classes at age 4.

Classically trained. Although I appreciate all music and play just about anything.
