About Me

I have been teaching for many years in both in private schools as well as in my home studio here in North Andover, Mass.
I try very hard to make piano lessons "FUN"!!!
I teach all styles of music from popular songs of today back to the older music of the 60's & 70's and back to the standards of the 40's & 50's. I do it all!!!
I teach a lot of classical music and of course all students will use a method book to learn all the fundamentals.
I am easy going and friendly and I will always go the extra mile for my students.
I generally keep my students for many years so I guess I'm doing something right!!!
I also am always happy to setup a first lesson meeting so that we can see if the student feels comfortable with me and vice versa.
I hope I have the opportunity to teach you and/or your children in the near future.

My Musical Education Background

I have been teaching both in the private school setting as well as in my home studio here in North Andover, Mass. for over 30 yrs.
In addition to that I am a professional pianist and play for weddings, restaurants, parties, etc...
I rec'd my Bachelors Degree from UMass Lowell
I rec'd my Masters Degree from Boston University

I have also had the privledge to perform with several popular entertainers such as Sarah McLachlan, James Taylor,The Platters, The Drifters, Aerosmith, & many more.

Lesson Rates

My rates are $26.00 for a half hour lesson/weekly
$37.00 for a 45 minute lesson/weekly
$52.00 for an hour lesson/weekly
$60.00 for an hour & 15 minute lesson

If you're an adult interested in taking piano lessons you would fall into the hour & 15 minute lesson but instead of weekly your lesson would be every other week.

Ages / Skill Levels Taught

I teach all ages from 6yrs. old all the way to adults of all ages and everyone in between.

My Certifications and Awards

I have rec'd several awards both from my students & parents at year end recitals to show their appreciation for my work as well as awards from the Music Teachers Assoc.
and several other groups.

My Musical Influences

Really there are too many to list from Paul McCartney to Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Beethoven & Mozart to the Rolling Stones and many more. Each of these artists has had an influence on my work.
