About Me
My name is Kaylin Patton. I am a 26 year old wife and mother who lives in Bethlehem, Georgia. Music has always been a passion of mine from a young age. My first instrument that I learned was the flute at the age of nine. After that, I began to learn as many instruments that I could get my hands on to such as the piano, violin, ukulele, etc. As I entered high school, my love for music turned into a love for teaching music. I began to give flute lessons to students younger than I and assist my school music director. I knew that teaching music was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
In 2018, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Music Education from Maranatha Baptist University. Following graduation, I taught music in a private school in Pennsylvania for two year. Although I enjoyed teaching music in a classroom setting, I have always loved the individual attention I have been able to give my students though private lessons.
I have taught private music lessons for eight years now. I believe that one-on-one instruction is the most effective way to learn an instrument. I love being able to give my students my undivided attention and tailoring each lesson to their skill level, learning style, and personal interests. My goal is to make each lesson exciting and fun! I want my students to develop a love for music that they can have with them for a lifetime!
