About Me
I am a mother of 4 adult children and enjoy playing organ and piano at church.
My Musical Education Background
I majored in music education at Ohio Northern University and Bowling Green State University earning a Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Elementary Music Education degree. I have over 30 years experience teaching piano and music theory.
Genres and Subjects Taught
I teach piano using traditional methods using method books and interesting repertoire. I also teach music theory through the lessons.
Lesson Rates
I charge $20 for 30 minute lesson, $30 for 45 minute lesson and $40 for 60 minute lesson for in-person and online lessons.
Ages / Skill Levels Taught
I will teach 6 years old and older. I teach beginner and intermediate levels.
My Certifications and Awards
I completed courses for the Royal Conservatory of Music elementary certificate in 2019 and attend continuing education workshops throughout the year.
