About Me
Each voice is created uniquely. Every student has their specialized needs. I know from experience that a positive mindset combined with practicing proven techniques gets results!
For over 30 years, I have been coaching, training, and mentoring singers, musicians, and songwriters. I have worked as a professional vocalist and musician in the music industry for over 20 years. Some of my students have become Broadway performers and a few are professional singer/songwriters and worship leaders.
My own musical story includes several years of private and college instruction, touring with an international choir, performing in bands, and jazz choirs. I worked as a performer in Los Angeles in my twenties, I have owned my own vocal studio since 1998. I also taught voice and piano at local music stores when I lived in California (Main Street Music in Tracy, CA, Legacy Music in Manteca, CA) I taught musical theater classes and workshops along with private voice and piano at Holly Rochelle Dance Studios in Manteca, CA.
Our family relocated to Washington state in 2018, and that is when I started teaching lessons on-line. Little did I know in 2020 the world would go virtual! Today, I happily and gratefully offer online and in-person lessons to aspiring students.
One thing my in person students benefit from in addition to my teaching is having opportunities to record in my home recording studio.

Taking lessons from Kim was one of the best things I’ve done for myself. Not only is she an awesome vocalist, musician and songwriter, she is also a masterful TEACHER. Kim knows what to listen for, look for, how to offer direction to her students and the she delivers feedback in a kind and inspiring way. She helped me correct poor vocal habits I hadn’t noticed before and taught me new things I was unaware I needed to know. I am forever grateful for her expertise, patience & guidance. Thanks to her I achieve things I never would have imagined for myself. The incredible value of Kim’s lessons are immeasurable.
